Abstract

The present work presents the “Meninas Tecnológicas” (Tech Girls) project, an initiative aimed at promoting the inclusion of high school students from Cuiabá city, in the field of Information Technology. By offering practical programming classes and computer organization, to deconstruct gender stereotypes and encourage female empowerment in a sector historically dominated by men, this study details the phases of the project, evaluates its impact on participants, and discusses the importance of educational and cultural policies that promote female inclusion in technological fields.
