Um Estudo Inicial Sobre As Alunas Ingressantes no Curso de Licenciatura em Ciência da Computação da Universidade Federal da Paraíba
Abstract
The decline in female participation in the courses of Information Technology area has attracted the attention of companies and universities in several countries at a time when much is discussed about gender equality and opportunities. In addition to promoting initiatives to encourage the entry of girls in these courses, it is necessary to conduct studies to know the profile of the freshmen and identify patterns that can direct actions against evasion. This paper analyzes data from computer science students in a graduation course, since its creation until nowadays.
