Abstract

In today's society, computing has become ubiquitous and its integration into the educational approach is of paramount importance. The objective of this project was to identify best practices to provide a set of recommendations for groups and reference sites on Computational Thinking, with the aim of expanding educational opportunities. These recommendations propose solutions, methods and practices related to Computational Thinking for the training of teachers, young people and children. The recommendations were applied in a case study in the Learning, Creativity and Technology Project (ACT), whose purpose is to disseminate Computational Thinking in Brazil. The application of the recommendations in the case study was evaluated by teachers and education professionals, who indicated that the recommendations proposed in this study can be useful for groups and projects that aim to disseminate Computational Thinking in education.
