The Proceedings of the 16th Workshop on Experimental Research of the Future Internet (WPEIF 2025) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Natal/RN, Brazil, from May 19-23, 2025, as part of the 43rd Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2025). In this issue, the proceedings include 08 papers. These papers were selected through a single-blind review. This volume was organized by Antônio Abelém (UFPA), Flavio Silva (UFU/UMinho), and José Ferreira de Rezende (UFRJ), workshop chairs, and by Nélio Cacho (UFRN), SBRC 2025 publications chair. The articles in this volume were submitted on 04/01/2025, and accepted for publication on 04/17/2025, with the final version submitted on 04/22/2025.
