The Proceedings of the 6th Workshop on Testing and Fault Tolerance (WTF 2005) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Fortaleza-CE, Brazil, on May 09, 2005, as part of the 23rd Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks (SBRC 2005). In this issue, the proceedings include 09 full papers and 03 extended abstracts. These papers were selected through a blind review. The event was organized by The Federal University of Ceará (UFC). The General Chair was Eliane Martins (UNICAMP), who organized this volume. The Program Chair was Fabíola Greve (UFBA). The articles in this volume were submitted on 03/30/2005, accepted for publication on 04/14/2005, with the final version submitted on 04/20/2005.
The WTF is promoted by the Special Commission on Fault Tolerant Systems (CE-TF) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).
The historical rescue of this edition, including the recovery of the files and the acquisition of the metadata, was carried out by Prof. Luiz Antonio Rodrigues (Unioeste) with special assistance from Prof. Elias P. Duarte Jr. (UFPR).
