The Proceedings of the 2nd Workshop on Testing and Fault Tolerance (WTF 2000) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Curitiba/PR, Brazil, from July 15-16, 2000. In this issue, the proceedings include 20 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review. The event was organized by The Institute of Informatics (INF) of Federal University of Paraná (UFPR). The General Chair was Prof. Elias P. Duarte Jr. (UFPR). The articles in this volume were submitted on 05/17/2000 and accepted for publication on 06/12/2000.
The WTF is promoted by the Special Commission on Fault Tolerant Systems (CE-TF) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).
The historical rescue of this edition, including the recovery of the files and the acquisition of the metadata, was carried out by Prof. Luiz Antonio Rodrigues (Unioeste) with special assistance from Prof. Elias P. Duarte Jr. (UFPR).
