Current Issue
The Proceedings of the 18th Brazilian e-Science Workshop (BreSci 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Florianópolis/SC, Brazil, from October 14-17, 2024, as part of the 39th Brazilian Symposium on Databases (SBBD 2024). In this issue, the proceedings include 20 full papers. These papers were selected through a peer-review process, from a total of 32 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 31.25%. The event's Program Committee Chairs Jorge de Abreu Soares (CEFET/RJ) and Mario Antonio Ribeiro Dantas (UFJF), organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 07/29/2024, accepted for publication on 08/19/2024, with the final version submitted on 09/02/2024.
The richness of this issue can be mainly credited to the authors and reviewers. We thank them a lot for their insightful contributions and discussions during BreSci 2024.
