Prototype of an application to assist in learning the Portuguese language for students of the Wai Wai tribe

Abstract

Through the constant evolution of technological means, a large number of digital tools have emerged focused on the area of education, they have served to foster creativity on the part of teachers who use methodologies, provided by computational thinking, in order to promote better absorption of the contents of the disciplines by the students. The objective of this work is to use the benefits of technological evolution by proposing a tool (application for Android platform) in order to promote the integration of indigenous students within the academic community of UFOPA (Federal University of Western Pará), since they have difficulty in learning of the disciplines, due to not mastering the Portuguese language. They were conducted from interviews with students to the design of the functional prototype, which is still in beta.
