Supporting the Retrieval of Open Educational Resources for Programming Education

Resumo


In this study, we summarize our ongoing PhD research dedicated to the intersection between Open Educational Resources (OER) and Programming Education. More specifically, we have been researching how programming education can be democratized by using open and free materials, such as open books, open courses, among others materials. For this purpose, we have been adopting the Design Science Research (DSR) in order to investigate and create artifacts for students and teachers of programming to use and reuse OER.
