Abstract

Created in 2015, the MEC Digital Educational Resources Platform (MEC RED) is a free software created to gather and make available content from users and the main portals of the Brazilian Ministry of Education for all people interested in the relationship between digital culture and education. After a long period without updates and as part of the National Strategy for Connected Schools, the platform underwent a redesign process focused on improving the User Experience and expanding its social networking features. MEC RED was launched in July 2024, in a new version that allows publishing, searching, downloading and saving resources in public or private collections, sharing experiences and finding training materials for Brazilian public education.
