A Study on Smartphone Dependence in Students of Technical Education Integrated to High School at IFC Campus Fraiburgo
Abstract
Technological advances have been benefiting humanity, but the inappropriate use of smartphones has produced negative effects. This study aimed at contributing to the reflection on the use of smartphones through a social experiment and a documentary. The experiment consisted of teenage students not using their smartphone for 24 hours. The results showed the relationship between smartphone use and health hazards. The experiment was evaluated by the participants and, together with exploratory research, formed the basis for the creation of a documentary. We expect this work will contribute to the understanding and reflection about smartphone usage.
