The Use of Data Partitioning to Accelerate Smart City Simulations
Abstract
Simulation is an invaluable technique to smart cities research. However, city-scale simulators can be processing and memory intensive and hard to scale. This work presents a load balancing algorithm for a distributed traffic simulator for smart cities.
