Abstract

Social networks have been called attention because they are an environment where more and more users are willing to express their opinions on the determining issue. Thus, it has become beneficial to process this information to generate applicable knowledge. Associated with this, so-called cloud computing has been touted as a solution to performance and scalability issues in systems that need to process large amounts of data. Given this scenario the purpose of this paper is to propose a methodology for social data mining based on a cloud architecture, using cloud provider services and techniques for data processing and sentiment analysis.
