QuestLoCity: A Gamified Location-Based Mobile Game to Support the Teaching Process

Abstract


This study proposes a location-based mobile game called QuestLo-City (Locative Question in the City), which is gamified and utilizes augmented reality features. The goal is to provide students with a playful and motivating environment for school activities. Through an ergonomic evaluation, the results showed that QuestLoCity offers a pleasant experience for students and has a gamified structure capable of motivating and engaging them in the educational activities available in the game.
