Development of an Internet of Things Data Center Climate Monitoring and Control System
Abstract
Through the advancement of internet-connected technologies, the use of Data Centers (DCs) by companies has become very common. However, maintaining this kind of structure poses a major challenge in relation to energy consumption, since DCs are large consumers of electricity. With it in mind, this work has as main proposal: the development of an embedded system of monitoring and control of the climatic conditions of DCs, in order to prevent possible defects in the equipment due to failures in the refrigeration system and reduce the energy consumption related to the cooling of the room.
