Abstract

According to Resolution No. 7/2018 of the National Education Council (CNE), the curricularization of Outreach Activities (OA) has become a mandatory requirement starting in 2023, which implies that all undergraduate courses are obliged to allocate 10% of the curriculum’s workload to extension activities. The objective of this study is to validate and prioritize Software Requirements (SR), previously elicited through a review of the gray literature, based on their importance, and at the same time, allow respondents to suggest new SRs or ideas. To achieve this objective, a survey study was conducted with potential system users who are part of the academic community. With the results obtained from 123 respondents, we created a prioritized list of SRs were along with new elucidated SRs. The approach adopted in the survey study proved satisfactory for the elicitation, prioritization, and validation of SRs for the problem domain.
