Abstract

Business process models present various information on how processes are performed in companies. In a Service Oriented Architecture, these models are important sources of information for identifying services with subsequent automation. This work implements the automatic identification of candidate services from processes modeled using BPMN notation. The algorithms were developed from heuristics of identification and consolidation of candidate services proposed in another work. The tool was applied in a process model. The information generated on candidate services reduces SOA Analyst time in service analysis.
