Abstract

In the last decades, the evaluation of the user experience in the use of systems has gained importance. There are several methods for evaluating user experience, however identifying which method is most suitable to be applied at each stage of a system's design cycle is a challenge. The objective of this theoretical-practical mini-course is to present the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model), its main applications and real case examples. In the theoretical part, the definitions and applications of the TAM model, including the steps necessary for its use in the design stage of computational applications. In the practical part, examples of real cases are explored in activities with the participants for a better understanding of the use of the TAM model.
