UUDT-MA: Technique for Usability and User Experience Design in Mobile Applications
Abstract
The development of mobile applications has become an activity that requires care due to the characteristics and limitations of mobile devices, which ultimately influence User eXperience (UX) and Usability. These quality aspects are related to user satisfaction as well as their feelings and emotions when using these applications. However, through a Systematic Literature Mapping conducted in this research, it was noted that few studies address the joint use of UX and Usability in the design of mobile applications. Therefore, this research presents an initial proposal for a technique called Usability and User eXperience Design Technique for Mobile Application (UUDT-MA), which contains recommendations regarding the design of mobile applications, integrating UX and Usability principles to support designers in the early stages of mobile application development.
