The Proceedings of the 3rd Workshop on Modeling and Simulation of Software-Intensive Systems (MSSiS 2021) bring the papers selected and presented from Joinville in the online edition, organized by Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina and Universidade da Região de Joinville as part of the 12th Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2021). In this issue, the proceedings include 05 full papers and 02 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review, from a total of 05 full papers and 05 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 100% and 40%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Valdemar Vicente Graciano Neto (Universidade Federal de Goiás), Fábio Basso (Universidade Federal do Pampa), and ‪Abdurrahman Alshareef (Kind Saud University, Saudi Arabia), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 07/01/2021, accepted for publication on 07/26/2021, with the final version submitted on 08/02/2021.
