Abstract

An Enterprise Knowledge Graph (EKG) system is a paradigm based on Semantic Web and Knowledge Graph technologies to integrate heterogeneous data sources. The goal of an EKG is to provide a unified ontological view so that applications have integrated access to data through the semantic view. Data exploration in the semantic view requires tools that present graphs in a comprehensible way and facilitate interpretation, thus aiding decision-making processes. This article presents ContextEKG_Explorer, an interactive graphical tool for data exploration in the semantic view of an EKG. The semantic view of the EKG is organized in a three-level hierarchy, simplifying the exploration of entities in multiple contexts. The tool offers intuitive visualizations of entities and fluid navigation between different contexts. These functionalities make ContextEKG_Explorer essential for identifying and resolving inconsistencies in data, improving the quality and reliability of information.
