Abstract

This paper describes the research involved in the design and evalu- ation the game Sêntimus: A Musical Digital Game for Children with Hyper- sensitivity to Sounds and Features of Neurodevelopmental Disorders. The game was developed based on treatment principles identified in the literature for both diseases, and was evaluated with 5 music therapists and also with 3 children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders and Hypersensitivity to Sounds. Our work contributes to the research on serious games, as well as to the treatment of the intended population, through their use of Sêntimus.
