Speech-To-Story: Gerando Histórias de Usuário

Abstract

In agile environments, requirement engineers conduct interviews with clients to create user stories manually. However, a manual approach is subject to human failures such as ambiguity, communication problems, and incomplete requirements. These failures are detected during the validation process of the stories that can be performed days after the interview, causing on wasted time and rework. This paper presents Speech-To-Story: a mobile solution for requirements gathering, generating automatically user stories for their immediate validation. Questions are offered for the engineer to conduct the structured interview, capturing the responses of the clients. The user stories can be validated and corrected during interview time.
