The Proceedings of the 35th Brazilian Symposium on Software Engineering (SBES 2021) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, held in Joinville/SC, from September 29 to October 1, 2021, as part of the 12th Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice (CBSoft 2021). In this issue, the proceedings include 55 full papers and 7 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Márcio Ribeiro (UFAL, Brazil), Marco Túlio Valente (UFMG, Brazil), Christina von Flach G. Chavez (UFBA, Brazil), Elisa Yumi Nakagawa (ICMC-USP, Brazil), Kiev Santos da Gama (UFPE, Brazil), Simone do Rocio Senger de Souza (ICMC/USP, Brazil), Ingrid Nunes (UFRGS, Brazil) and Rohit Gheyi (UFCG, Brazil), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 05/17/2021, accepted for publication on 07/05/2021, with the final version submitted on 07/19/2021.
