Corona: A threatened kingdom! A gamebook to combat misinformation
Abstract
The purpose of the article is to present the results of a game production strategy, carried out in partnership with the Biology area at UESC - Santa Cruz State University (Ilhéus, Bahia) and the Digital Games Course at PUC Minas (Belo Horizonte-MG). Our project created a digital Game- Book that informs and raises awareness about the Covid-19 Pandemic, it’s forms of contamination, vaccine and prevention. With the premise of creating a Serious Game with a medieval theme that takes place in the human body, this GameBook, available for free, makes use of interactivity and a range of choices to warn about the consequences of misinformation about a Pandemic that, until now, killed more than 6.26 million people.
