Abstract

This article presents ArrasTE-A, a digital learning game for preschool-age autistic children. Its main goal is to be a support tool for the development of skills worked by teachers in the resources room. The game consists of four phases that encourage children to practice pairing skills, recognize geometric shapes, sizes, besides identify animals and colors. This paper details the game’s design and development process. In addition, the prototype was submitted to a validation stage with teachers who perform Specialized Educational Assistance (SEA), which highlighted the relevance of the developed application and proposed improvements for new versions of the game.
