Enem Runner: An infinite racing game accessible to the visually impaired

Abstract


In this work, we present the development of a mobile game aiming to mitigate one of the main problems in the world of digital games: the lack of accessibility and inclusion for people with disabilities. Thus, we propose Enem Runner, an infinite running game with narrative tools, an inclusive layout and obstacles that emit sounds. Moreover, the proposed game has an explicit critic to the difficulties experienced in the urban environment, especially for people with disabilities.
