Abstract

In this work we propose “Upwards!”, a platform game focused on competition between players, which aims to reach the top of a large tree. The game will have accessible mechanics for people with motor, hearing and visual impairments, to make it so that competition is equally encouraged for all audiences. In addition to its accessibility, “Upwards!” aims to be a fun game for people with and without disabilities, promoting equity in its gameplay.
