Morro Novo - A game for training equipment maintenance processes in the mining area

Abstract


In this paper, we describe the design of the game Morro Novo, developed with the objective of training professionals in the operational process of managing records of defects occurrences and maintenance of large equipments of a multinational enterprise in the mining sector. The game is the result of an undergraduate research and innovation project developed by the Research and Innovation Group in Ciberdemocracy (CIBERDEM), with the purpose of verifying the potential of business processes-based digital games for process training.
