Specialist System to Support History Teaching of 6th Year through Digital Games

Abstract


The estimated value of the global digital games market in the year 2021 is around US$ 175.8 billion. Another relevant element is that Basic Education students belong to the called Gamer Generation and are immersed in a society in which technological convergence and ubiquity are part of everyday life, in addition to interacting with games for fun and learning. From this, the present research proposes an expert system for history teachers of the 6th year of Elementary Education access information about digital games that can support skills development that integrate the National Common Curricular Base (NCCB), as well as presenting strategies for use in class.
