Proposal for Curriculum Integration with Internet of Things in Technical Vocational Education at Secondary Level

Abstract


The digital technologies of Industry 4.0 are increasingly present in society, demanding reflections on training processes in the most diverse areas and levels of education. Thus, this article describes a proposal to integrate Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in the curriculum of a high school technical course in Agriculture integrated with High School. Using the Design Science Research Methodology, a prototype of an IoT device was developed to be used as a didactic tool submitted to the evaluation of teachers, who showed interest in its use, pointing out great potential in improving teaching-learning processes.
