Abstract

This article presents the development of an educational game aimed at raising awareness about depressive symptoms and encouraging individuals to seek treating for this condition. The game adopts a playful and interactive approach, incorporating thematic visual and auditory elements related to the issue, along with challenges to maintain players´ interest. The game was developed by a multidisciplinary team with the support of a psychologist, and the Short Game Design Document was used for documentation. The game was positively evaluated by university students and psychologists, being considered a useful tool for raising awareness about the topic of depression.
