TRUEBLE: Prototyping and Evaluation of the Truth Table Teaching App

Abstract


Initial theoretical subjects, such as Mathematical Logic in Computing courses, challenge students with complex mathematical content. To help overcome these difficulties, we developed TRUEBLE, an educational application with modules to teach, build, and check truth tables. This work focuses on prototyping and evaluating the module Build Table, which received positive feedback from students, indicating that Trueble significantly improved understanding of the content. In the future, we will evaluate the impact of Trueble on learning in the classroom.
