Podcast as a Learning Tool in High School: A Case Study

Abstract


Context: The use of digital technologies present in young people's daily lives is an effective alternative for building knowledge and promoting active learning. Justification: using the podcast can awaken students' interest in learning and the possibility of an education closer to the student. Objective: To investigate the effectiveness of producing and participating in podcasts on the learning of high school students. Method: conducting a case study for creating and participating in podcasts in the classroom. Results: The results show that there was progress in student performance after applying the podcast. Conclusion: It was observed that participation in the podcast had a positive impact on these students' communication skills and also served as an effective tool for reviewing school content.
