Abstract

Currently, the use of serious games has shown promise in the cognitive development of people with intellectual disability. When combined with virtual reality devices, they offer immersive environments that make learning more engaging. This research presents the development of a serious game with immersive virtual reality to enhance the cognitive abilities of people with intellectual disability. This is an exploratory and applied study. A pilot evaluation was carried out with people from APAE to measure aspects of usability and Cybersickness effects
