Abstract

This paper describes the Instituto Atlântico experience in planning, defining and implementing CMMI-SW level 3. This experience was based on IDEAL’s process improvement cycle and carried out according to the following phases: planning, diagnosis of the existing process, definition of new processes, implementation and use of the defined processes and assessments. The observed results of this experience have been the increase of the organizational development processes.
