CHAMELEONMAP: A System for Interactive Testbed Visualization

Abstract

This paper presents CHAMELEONMAP, an inventory map system for interactive visualization of testbeds. We explore its main features, such as topology data registration and editing, visualization filters, element information detail levels, and data imports management. We demonstrate how the system can be instantiated, and we describe two use cases: the RNP testbed map and the OpenRAN@Brasil map. The significant impact of CHAMELEONMAP is evident in its ability to meet the complex demands of geolocated visualization of network inventories. The connection with external environments and its robust features not only meet current needs, but also establish a solid foundation for future innovations.
