Analysis of a Multimodal and Multicriteria Personalized Routing System with Emphasis on Location-Based Social Networking Platforms
Abstract
The growth in the availability of route recommendation services results from the increased need for transportation. However, most of these services are based mainly on route time and distance, disregarding individual user preferences. This work proposes a multi-criteria and multimodal route selection model, highlighting route customization by considering user preference, travel cost, and vehicle emissions. This system promotes the determination of more economical, faster, and cheaper routes, benefiting users and drivers.References
