The Companion Proceedings of the 13th Brazilian Symposium of Robotics (SBR 2021) & 18th Latin American Robotics Symposium (LARS 2021) bring the Proceedings of the IX Workshop on MSc and PhD Works in Robotics and of the Graduate Works Contest in Robotics (WTDR/CTDR 2021) the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event on October 14-15, 2021, as part of the XVIII Latin American Robotics Symposium (LARS 2021), XIII Brazilian Robotics Symposium (SBR 2021) and XII Workshop on Robotics in Education (WRE 2021). In this issue, the proceedings include 9 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review, from a total of 12 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 75%. The WTDR/CTDR 2021 program committee was coordinated by Professors Julio Cesar Paulino de Melo (UFRN) and Danilo Hernani Perico (FEI), that organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 08/09/2021, accepted for publication on 09/09/2021, with the final version submitted on 09/30/2021.
