The Companion Proceedings of the 18th Brazilian Symposium on Information and Computational Systems Security (SBSeg 2018) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Natal/RN, from October 22-25, 2018. In this edition, the proceedings include 31 papers distributed in four tracks: Thesis and Dissertation Competition, Tools, Workshop of Digital Identity Management (WGID), and Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Undergraduate Works (WTICG). These papers were selected through a peer-review. This volume was organized by Fábio Borges (LNCC) - coordinator of the Thesis and Dissertation Competition; Emerson Ribeiro de Mello (IFSC) - coordinator of the Tools; Edelberto Franco Silva (UFJF) - coordinator of the Workshop of Digital Identity Management (WGID); and, finally, Igor Moraes (UFF) and Ivanilson Junior (IFRN) - coordinators of the Workshop on Scientific Initiation and Undergraduate Works (WTICG).
