Application of Procedural Texture and Roughness for Dirt and Wear Modeling on Surfaces
Abstract
This work discusses some techniques for creating surface imperfections in order to make them more realistic. To create imperfections, techniques for generating procedural textures and procedural bumps will be used, using Perlin noise as the main tool. Noise is used to model dirt and corrosion. Computational experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the technique.References
