The Proceedings of the 20th Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and the Web (WebMedia 2014) bring the articles selected and presented at the edition of the event held in Amazonas, from November 18 to 21, 2014. This edition includes 25 full papers and 12 short papers, selected from 86 full papers and 30 short papers submissions, with acceptance rates of 29% and 40%, respectively. Each submitted paper was assigned to at least three program committee members for review. The symposium committee adopted a double-blind review process to provide a fair selection from the submissions.
