The Companion Proceedings of the 20th Brazilian Symposium on Multimedia and the Web (WebMedia 2014) bring the papers selected and presented at the workshops of the edition of the event held in João Pessoa, November 18 to 21, 2014. The 14th Workshop on Ongoing Thesis and Dissertations (WTD 2014) received a total of 8 submissions. Four papers were selected, resulting in an acceptance rate of 50%. The 11th Workshop on Undergraduate Research Work (WTIC 2014) received a total of 16 submissions. Eight papers were selected, resulting in an acceptance rate of 50%. The 13th Workshop on Tools and Applications (WFA 2014) received a total of 12 submissions. At the end of the review process, 6 tools or applications were selected.
