Robotics as a tool for the development of computational thinking and introduction to programming logic
Abstract
This article presents the results obtained from an extension course, developed at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), in the secondsemester of 2018 and the first semester of 2019. The course aimed to teach the basics of robotics, programming, electronics, and promote the stimulation of computational thinking through Constructionism. In the end, the participants declared an evolution in relation to what was proposed in several areas of knowledge, reinforcing the multidisciplinary characteristic of robotics. In addition, the tools used have brought a new perspective to the time that has made it even easier to access the platform, extending learning beyond the classroom.
