Abstract

Understanding the characteristics of the user behavior of educational sites is an important question in the search for the improvement of e-learning courses. This type of application demands a considerable amount of resources, therefore checking how these resources are used is crucial to ahead foresee the system workload increase. In this work, a case study of an e-learning site is presented. This application holds about two thousand users of a graduation course in the area of computation spread by 17 different localities in the State of Rio de Janeiro.
