Abstract

This paper proposes fuzzy evaluation system to help teachers in deciding the final concept of the critical students who use the environment of distance education. The problem occurs when the final note of the students is on the verge of reaching better concepts, for example, the note 6.8 defines the Regular concept, but missing just two decimals to reach the Good concept. The case study is conducted with the LabSQL, and has the following advantages: (a) provide a recommendation to the teacher regarding the final concept, (b) uses subjective and objective criteria to decide the final concept. The fuzzy logic allows a more real data analysis, which is difficult to obtain using classic logic.
