Abstract

This paper aims to present the use of practical projects as an educational tool that provides real situations for acquisition and exercise of knowledge, to meet a concern of the current Computer Science and Informatics professional – its role as a citizen. Constructivism and Constructionist strategies are show as reasons for the emergence of this practice, as well as the results of a study conducted among Computer Science and Informatics students.
