Abstract

From research, analyzing the profiles of women in the computing area, it became evident the importance of knowledge about these entries to better understand what is necessary to expand such an audience in computing. The objective of this research is to analyze the gender profile of students in the fieldof computing at UFPA-Castanhal. Emphasizing the importance of developing research and extension activities that will encourage the entry of women into computing.
