The Proceedings of the 14th Women in Information Technology (WIT 2020) bring the papers selected and presented in the online edition of the event, on November 16 to 20, as part of the 40th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2020) which had the theme "Artificially human or Humanly artificial? Challenges for society 5.0". In this issue, the proceedings include 16 full papers and 26 short papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind peer-review process, from a total of 64 full papers and 20 short papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 25% and 32%, respectively. The event's program committee was coordinated by Mirella M. Moro and Maristela Holanda, who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on May 15, 2020, accepted for publication on June 10, 2020, with the final version submitted on June 30, 2020.
