Where are the women in this history? A workshop about female representativeness in the sciences

Abstract

The present work is an educational activity report of conducting a timeline construction workshop, about women in the history of science. The aim of the workshop is to retell the story with the participation of women, and thus bring representativeness to areas that are often considered to be masculine. For the development of this activity, eight women from the three major areas of science were surveyed: human, exact and biological. Along 1h30 minutes, it counted on the participation of students from a technical, in favor of the identification and acknowledgment of female figures obliterated in historiography.
